Are Tattoos Holding Back Your Career? Let's Talk!
Did you know that 15% of HR leaders admit to not hiring an otherwise qualified candidate because of tattoos? It's a statistic that highlights a lingering bias in the workplace. Consider this: the current workforce is comprised of 19% Boomers, 36% Gen X, and 39% Millennials. By 2030, Gen Z will make up over 30% of the workforce, and by 2031, the youngest Boomer will hit retirement age.
When it comes to tattoos, 45% of Millennials have them, compared to 32% of Gen Z and just 22% of Boomers. And interestingly, 37% of women are tattooed versus only 27% of men.
What will the workforce look like in the next 6 years? As the tattooed population grows, we need to challenge outdated perceptions. Tattoos shouldn't be a reason someone is stuck in their career.
Let's disrupt the status quo and change the narrative.
